Statutory auditors – SEN-RE, Société Sénégalaise de Réassurances

The Senegalese Reinsurance Company - SENRE - was a simple application of the recommendations of the CNUCED which advised developing countries to organize their Insurance market in order to be able to capture the savings they generate, if necessary to finance their economy. SENRE was created in 1988 in a public-private partnership, with legal assignment, taking into account the small size of the Senegalese market and a concern for balance in the portfolio.
